BLUE WATER CRUISING WORKSHOP
Follow your sailing dream!
Let us help you to start your cruising adventure!
Many sailors are dreaming of making the big step to cross the Atlantic Ocean or even sail around the whole world.
Such a project comes with many questions and uncertainties and plenty of journeys are aborded with the boat actually ready to go, simply because the preparations used up all energy and motivation.
We in Wicked Horizon have among us over 30 years and more than 70.000 nautical miles of sailing experience on all oceans in the world. This experience we want to share with you.
We have developed a workshop to tell you what is really needed to survive (and enjoy) weeks at sea and where the risks actually lie when we cast off towards unknown horizons.
Topics
- Safety at sea – What are the biggest risks on a blue water journey?
- Economy – How much does it cost to sail around the world?
- Navigation – What is the best route and how do I find it?
- Living on board – How do I cook, do laundry, stay healthy etc. when living fulltime on board?
- Choice of boat – Can I use my boat to cross an ocean?
- Equipment – Autopilot, Starlink, Watermaker, AIS etc. What should I have on board?
We are happy to recieve your questions and topics of interest before the workshop so we can create the most relevant experience!
